At GAIN, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. You help us empower underrepresented talent, open doors, and inspire the next generation of investment professionals.

We’re excited to launch the GAIN Volunteer Advisory Council, a dynamic new group powered by volunteers, driven by impact. This council will act as a creative engine to amplify volunteer voices, energize engagement, and strengthen our community impact.

Why join?

As a member of the GAIN Volunteer Advisory Council, you will:

  • Act as a strategic sounding board for GAIN’s volunteer programmes and initiatives.

  • Generate ideas and co-create engaging activities and content.

Who should apply?

We’re looking for active GAIN volunteers who:

  • Have graduated at least 3 years ago and are working and/or actively seeking a role in the investment industry, or are retired from the industry.

  • Are passionate about GAIN’s mission and values.

  • Have demonstrated commitment and initiative in their volunteer contributions.

  • Are eager to collaborate, share ideas, and represent fellow volunteers.

  • Can commit to attending quarterly meetings and contributing actively throughout the year.

Term & Commitment

  • Term: 1-3 years (starting September 2025; renewable depending on contribution and availability)

  • Meetings: Quarterly (virtual, with potential in-person opportunities)

  • Expected time commitment: 2 hours per quarter, plus optional additional activities

Timeline

  • EOI deadline: 29th August 2025

  • Selection & confirmation: 15 September 2025

  • First meeting: End September 2025
