Murano sits in the middle of the asset management industry. We are expert matchmakers in the asset management space and effectively match investors with our fund manager clients. We speak to investors all over the world to get their views on the market and investment needs in order to see if one of our fund clients will fit with what they are looking for. When the stars align, we make the connection! Murano is renowned as a global leader in Investor Research. We call this position an “Investor Analyst.”
Because this position requires speaking with a lot of people, you will be on the phone throughout the day. The tough part about this job is trying to get hold of people that are very busy and then speaking to them in a professional manner. You don’t need to be an expert, but you need to be a good journalist and desire to continuously be learning.
We can think of no better way to get into the industry. Here is why: you will get a lot of exposure to the investor market and work with some of the most prestigious funds on the planet. It is not uncommon to have the “Who’s Who” of the industry walk through our door, and we have about one hundred fund presentations a year from a very wide variety of managers.
We also offer sponsorship for professional qualifications, like the CAIA, CFA or the IMC if you are interested in progressing your knowledge further.

Murano offers a comprehensive program whereby candidates will gain an overview of the investment industry through on the job training and the opportunity to take professional exams. At the end of the program, successful employees will be able to progress within the company to senior positions.
What about compensation, etc.?
We invest significantly in training new employees and believe in paying for talent. Our employees are rewarded on a meritocratic basis and we award promotions based on performance. If you excel within your role, you will progress quickly and, as you grow, so does your pay cheque.

Salary: £30,000 per annum + Performance bonus, salary increases as role progresses
