Support our programmes and build your talent pipeline
At GAIN, we’re developing the next generation of investment management professionals – and investment firms are at the heart of that mission. By getting involved with our programmes, you’ll gain access to emerging talent, strengthen your employer brand, and demonstrate meaningful commitment to diversity and inclusion in a historically underrepresented industry.
Whether you’re looking to discover interns early, mentor rising talent, or bring investment to life for school students, there’s a way for your firm to make an impact.

Here’s how your firm can volunteer with GAIN:

Internship Programme
Provide hands-on experience in your investment firm.
Our flagship Internship Programme connects motivated women and non-binary students with paid internships at leading investment management firms.
GAIN provides tailored mentor support throughout, so interns arrive better prepared and your team benefits from a smooth onboarding experience. It’s an efficient way to assess early-career talent while investing in future leaders.

Insight Programme (for partner firms)
Give insight to emerging investment talent.
Host our students for Insight Days – behind-the-scenes workshops, networking sessions, and interactive exposure to your investment teams. You’ll showcase your culture, build relationships with potential future hires, and stand out to top students as a firm that genuinely invests in the next generation.
To host students on Insight Days, firms must partner GAIN UK. Visit our Partnership page to find out more and inspire the next generation of industry talent.

School Investment Challenge
Bringing investment to life for schools.
The School Investment Challenge introduces sixth form students – many encountering investment management for the first time – to the fundamentals of investing through competitive, team-based challenges. By volunteering as a judge or mentor, you’ll help spark interest in young women and non-binary students who might not otherwise consider a career in investment, while building goodwill with the next talent pipeline.

University Investment Challenge
A practical, competitive learning experience.
The University Investment Challenge is for students already committed to exploring investment management. Volunteering as a judge or mentor means working with high-potential individuals at a critical stage in their career development – and having a direct influence on how they approach the industry. It’s meaningful engagement with talent who are actively preparing to join it.
