We are seeking an individual with strong data capabilities, a deep understanding of the asset management industry and the leadership qualities to help guide the organisation through its next phase of evolution and growth.
Key Responsibilities
A list of the key responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for the firm’s Operational, Finance and Support (including IT, Legal, HR, Co Sec) functions, identifying and delivering continuous improvement
- Engage and work collaboratively with other members of the Management Committee to ensure the day-to-day smooth running of the Company
- Lead and guide the direct reports to ensure their functions are covered effectively and they have a comprehensive understanding of their day-to-day responsibilities.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Significant experience of managing operations / middle office functions within the asset management industry.
- Good understanding of internal control systems and process frameworks.
- Experience of managing Finance and/or IT functions is desirable.
- Demonstrable strategic thinking skills, as well as ability to identify risks and in turn determine and implement short-term solutions and remediation.
- Experience of committee level membership.
- Strong focus and track record on staff development, including motivation and influencing positive behaviour.
- Comfortable working with a small team and being hands-on where necessary.
